Wealth Upgrade Club

please give me your successful method
How do you know what is a good amount to seat aside for savings based on what you make each month ?
tips please :)

-Calculate your estimated expenses, write a draft budget (it won’t be perfect) and stick to it the best you can. Keep track of how accurate your budget is.

-Stop using credit cards (if applicable)
-Track ALL your spending, carry a small notebook in your wallet/purse.
-Deal in cash whenever possible.
-Build a buffer of one month’s expenses in your checking account.

After a month or two of that, you should be able to put together a budget that is more than a guess.

Every month, your budget will get more accurate, and if you are disciplined enough, your savings will grow as you trim expenses.
As far as savings go, there are a number of methods, you can have some of every check transferred to savings, you can keep a piggy bank, you can buy CD’s from your bank when the checking account buffer gets to a certain size, or you can get creative. We have a dedicated savings plan for medium-sized purchases … we don’t spend $10 bills, they go in the savings box until there is enough cash to buy what we want.

i struggle with saving money so i need to figure out how to save money better. Well i need to save just enough for a field trip that’s coming really soon so any suggestions

Buy something that will gain in value such as (sounds like a commercial) gold, silver, platinum other precious metals and stones. But that is more so for long term. For something short term, such as this, make a rainy day jar! Get a pretzel jar, put duck-tape around the entire thing, but make a slit in the lid so that you can fit bills/coins in. Why duck-tape? So you can’t open the jar or see the money (seeing is the first step to temptation) Put all of your loose change and bills 5 and under every day and by the time you need it, cut the jar open with a box cutter and walaa, you should have a lot of saving money. I hope this helps you! Saving money is a key part in your life and if you don’t learn how to do it soon, it could terribly damage your credit score. Good Luck!

Our country is built on Capitalism and to punish the rich with higher and higher taxes mean the poor get poorer by losing their jobs to third world countries.
By letting free-market runs on its own, the rich will get richer but businesses will have more jobs available due to expansions instead of sending jobs away due to reduction.

I am only stating that logic because i see a lot of people complaining that the rich are getting richer all the time, but they fail to understand that it’d be worse off the other way around.

You kind of answered your own question. Why would we want to keep the rich fom getting richer if income is rising for the poor too?

I’m starting my own restaurant and trying to cut back on expenses. What do you think is the best choice to maximize my profits?

-Save money on tables by having people eat out of a trough
-Allow people to throw their garbage on the floor with their peanut shells
-Refuse to refund money to customers who got salmonella
-Require kaftans
-Convince customers the D from the health inspection stands for delicious

Make sure you open your restaurant in an area that is near other restaurants. Offer to save them money on trash disposal fees by dealing with some of their food waste for them. Have your kitchen staff periodically pick through this trash and gather up anything that looks like it might still be edible, and incorporate it into the meals that you serve. It’s amazing how many people throw away perfectly good pasta, steak, meat from sandwiches, etc., just because they ordered more than they could eat and are too lazy to take the leftovers home. Let their loss be your gain, and help to save the environment at the same time by recycling food so it doesn’t end up in a landfill somewhere.

For example, let’s say the steak house across the street serves 16 ounce ribeye steaks. Many people won’t finish theirs, so there should be an ample supply of steak pieces, let’s say somewhere around four ounces each, in their trash. You can combine these and sell 12-ounce portions as three four-ounce mini-steaks, and because the food didn’t cost you anything, you can dramatically undercut the steak house’s prices and still make a profit.

All they do is follow orders. So why get mad at them and not the rich politicians who start the war?

IF they do…it is because the serviceman is accessible whereas the politicians are not.

I don’t seem to know of this happening since Vietnam.

It is apparent that republicans want to punish the worker. Everything they do is geared towards punishing the workers.

Republicans want to and advocate for:
- Make unions illegal
- Eliminate minimum wage
- Eliminate social security and pensions
- Outsource jobs to foreign markets
- Eliminate safety and health regulations
- Tax the workers more, eliminate taxes on the rich (who already pay much less as a percentage of income than the workers)

All of those things hurt workers. They have proposed NOTHING that helps workers.

Republicans claim, "Our government should not punish people for being successful." But in reality, the "successful" are not punished at all when the "successful" only pay 15% and the workers pay 30%.

How are we punishing the successful when the successful get enormous breaks from the government, while the workers are suffering lower and lower wages as the rich get richer?

THIS is the one part I cannot grasp or understand. They claim to hold and embody so many values yet assault the common working person at every turn. They want the worker weak and blind and dumb. I don’t understand.

…. but they don’t care about the plight of poor people and the middle class people.

They keep hoping they will get in under the radar

I’ll be taking a 9 hour flight to Frankfurt Germany on Lufthansa. Does anyone know if they offer first class/business class upgrades upon check in for a fee?

If there is space available, most airlines will offer upgrades for a fee. Sometimes for less than if you bought the ticket in advance, with the thinking that collecting some additional revenue is better than nothing.

It should be. It’s a recipe for civil unrest.
