oops,I SHOULD have …

produced by Aspergillus mold, which is found in

Very bad stuff!

what would make the …
what would make the feed corn not ‘food grade’
would be if it had more mold in it. Aflatoxin, a mold
often found in corn, is one of the most carcinogenic
substances there is. Of course, a certain amount
is also found in ‘food grade’ corn. Arrowhead Mills
is the only grain company I know of that tests their products for aflatoxin.

I like to do …
I like to do basically the same thing but using chicken broth and mascarpone cheese in the polenta. I also use green onion at the end of cooking it. We eat it this way for supper and then any leftovers go into a loaf pan to be fried up for breakfast.
My kids love it. It is a quick, cheap meal for us when we need it. I copied the recipe from an expensive restaurant in our area.

Feed corn is …
Feed corn is usually genetically modified and believed to be a danger to human health. Some studies show it even changes human DNA structure. If you have access to organic feed corn that would be better.
