I’m not a parent, …
I’m not a parent, but I know that I want kids someday. So thanks for the advice for saving money on showing how parents can make homemade diaper wipes for babies. And from the looks on this video, they’re a lot bigger then the ones advertised or sold at any stores. I will keep this advice in mind.

I’ve used home made …
I’ve used home made wipes now for almost 2.5 years on my twin girls. I use olive oil instead of the mineral oil. I actually gave away a container and the recipe as one of a baby shower gifts. I LOVE them and I think they’re much healthier than commercially made wipes. Thanks for the video!

nope, the towels …
nope, the towels hold together great, even up to the last one. unlike wipes, they get damper (rather than dryer,) as you get to the bottom.
as for the softness, my kids never complain. my boy is 2 now. he can talk, and he’s still getting changed diapers (we just started potty training him, in fact, this week!)
thanks for your ideas.

I’ve thought about …
I’ve thought about this for years and experimented with some when my kids were little. The problems I found with this method were: 1. The paper towels (even the highest quality) fall apart with extended periods of dampness. 2. Paper towels (again, highest quality) are not soft on bottoms at all. I mean, if I fun out of toilet paper I would NEVER use paper towels, even dampened. Ouch.
