Hello, the released the new operating system called Windows 7 in October 22, 2009. They’ve added a lot new features, and to be honest it’s really great. In this video I put the meaning of it, 10 tips and tricks, and questions and answers. If you’re a business type of person I’d definately upgrade the operating system. Snow Leopard expectations: Potentially worth the upgrade?

We’ve heard lots of people chime in with reviews of Snow Leopard, and for the most part reviewers are encouraging the $29 upgrade… but why? What’s the motivator? We talk to Michael Gartenberg from Interpret and Rory Reid from CNET UK about the new OS.
Michael tends to think the upgrade is worth it. He’s been using the OS for a few weeks, and says it’s noticeably faster and a “no-brainer upgrade,” not to mention the business shenanigans that Apple pulled against Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 7, beating it to market by nearly two months.
Rory, on the other hand, isn’t so convinced. Sure, it might be faster, but is it really worth spending the cash? He’s not so sure… especially when there’s not a dead ringer reason to do so. Sounds to us, anyway, like Rory’s more inclined to take advantage of all the 64-bit advantages once his computer can do the same, which unless users have 4GB of ram or greater, the benefits aren’t as stark as they will be.

XP to 7 or Vista Business to 7?

My UX came with a free Vista business upgrade. I’ve heard SP1 clears out at least most of the bugs Vista had. I also heard that Windows 7 is easier to upgrade to if you already have Vista on board. So, should I put Vista back on, or just go from XP to 7? IMPORTANT: I have obtained ALL special utility drivers (audio, camera, touch panel, etc). They are Vista specific and I was told they may not work with Windows 7. I also plan to REIMAGE XP BACK TO FACTORY DEFAULTS and BACK IT UP to a CD or DVD BEFORE proceeding any further. One thing I forgot to put in the video is that I would like to test this on true PC hardware (most people in the budget computer sector wouldn’t buy a Mac just to run Windows on it), and the UX is the closest thing I have to authentic PC hardware.

Guide for upgrading Windows XP Professional to Windows Vista Business. As I can see, some of you seem to have trouble understanding the “X:\setup.exe” bit. Either let auto-run do its stuff, or replace the X with your drive letter, e.g D.
N.B. Video is not done in real time. Sections have been edited to shorten the video for YouTube. Upgrade may take from half an hour to several hours depending on your computer’s hardware.
Also: this assumes that the Vista (DVD) disc is in your PC (Duh!).
